Join Summit Metro Parks for the Kids’ Fishing Derby, presented by Wayside Furniture. Anglers 15 and younger are invited to cast a line in Little Turtle Pond at Firestone Metro Park. Youth ages 15 and younger can learn the basics of fishing, then drop a line and see what they can catch! Some rods and reels will be available for use. Bait is provided. Adults must supervise their children and must have a current Ohio fishing license if they want to fish.

Join us in collaboration with South Street Ministries for a 13.5-mile bike ride to discuss how transportation has evolved along the canal to the multimodal systems of today. This is a casually paced bike ride with frequent stops on the trail. Please bring your own helmet and bicycle. Helmets are required to participate.
