If you want to enjoy nature in a leisurely way, join us for nature conversation with a warm beverage by the fire. Weather permitting, we will take a short walk to enjoy the transition from autumn to winter.
Families with little ones: join a naturalist to learn about snowflakes while making s’mores around a campfire. We’ll also read a storybook, so bring a blanket to get extra cozy.
Is that just a series of tracks in the snow or . . . mystery waiting to be solved? Rookie detectives and hard-boiled trackers alike are invited to brush up on their tracking skills to solve cases and present their findings to the force before we go on patrol to find tracks and clues right outside our door.
Have a relaxing walk on the 1.4 mile Seneca Trail. Take some time to listen to the absence or abundance of sound that is found in winter. Make sure to dress warm and, above all, enjoy the serenity of the outdoors.
