Geology of the Ledges

Take a step back in time and learn about the geology of the Twinsburg Ledges. Learn how they were created, what they are made of, and their importance to the ecosystem. We will be hiking about a mile on uneven and rocky terrain and going into the conservation area. Boots and bug spray is recommended.

    We invite children ages 3 to 6 and their adult companions to go batty for bats! We will explore these winged wonders through a short lesson, story and crafts. Please make other arrangements for younger children unable to remain in infant seats or strollers. Registration is required and begins on 9/25.

    Coming in many shapes, sizes, and colors our parks are home to a dazzling array of these scaled swimmers. Fold and decorate your own origami fish while learning about some of the fish in our local waterways and the adaptations that allow them to thrive. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
