Young children and their adult companions can enjoy this interactive, autumn-themed story time. Make it a fun, family-friendly morning by exploring the park or visiting the Nature Play area after the program.
We invite children ages 3 to 6 and their adult companions to go batty for bats! We will explore these winged wonders through a short lesson, story and crafts. Please make other arrangements for younger children unable to remain in infant seats or strollers. Registration is required and begins 9/25.
This biweekly program is designed to engage young children and accompanying adults in the wonderful world of gardening. Homeschoolers ages 7 to 12: Join naturalists and discover the heroic journey and cultural significance of the charismatic monarch butterfly. Their migration to Mexico is not easy, but upon their arrival, a celebration begins. Please dress for the weather. Registration is required and begins 10/9.
