As the herald of waning daylight brings promises of crisper days ahead, colorful imagery and the earthy scent of fallen leaves, there are countless opportunities to celebrate the arrival of autumn with Summit Metro Parks.

Watch lumberjack glitter (otherwise known as sawdust) fly at Fall Family Outing, presented by Cleveland Clinic Akron General & Cleveland Clinic Children’s, where the lumberjack show promises to be an event to remember! You’ll have the chance to watch lumberjacks speed climb 45-foot poles, perform springboard chops and more. Enjoy kids’ activities, mascot appearances, food trucks, seasonal refreshments, hayrides, bonfires and other delights of the season.

Truck-Or-Treat is new this year! Collect treats from SMP staff.

New this year, bring the family to the park district’s first-ever Truck-or-Treat at Silver Creek Metro Park and Goodyear Heights Metro Park! Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the trucks and vehicles that help keep our parks beautiful while collecting treats from SMP staff. Costumes are encouraged for all ages!
