Summit Metro Parks invites the community to join its Music by the Lake concert series, presented by Wayside Furniture.
Enjoy late spring and summer scenery set to a performance by the Metro Parks Ensemble. They’ll play music from the big band era, Broadway musicals, children’s films, marches, TV themes and more. The program varies each month.
Performances are on Tuesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets, and a picnic if preferred. The concert will be canceled if it rains. Please call 330-865-8060 for updates if wet weather is in the forecast.
Munroe Falls Metro Park concerts will be held at the Lake Area (521 S. River Rd., Munroe Falls) on June 4, July 2 and August 6. Cycling without Age trishaw bikes will be available beginning at 6 p.m. to carry riders with limited mobility on a bench seat for an unobstructed view of nature and feeling of riding a bike in the outdoors.
Silver Creek Metro Park concerts will be held at the Sherman Shelter area (5000 Hametown Rd., Norton) on June 11, July 9 and August 13.
