Inside|Out program comes to Merriman Valley
Summer wildflowers are fading. But thanks to the Akron Art Museum, some of the Metro Parks still have pops of color. Four parks and one trail feature artwork as part of the fall 2016 installment of Inside|Out.
Inside|Out is “a community activated art project that brings reproductions of iconic artworks from the Akron Art Museum’s collection” into different neighborhoods. Through October 31, you can find pieces of art in the Merriman Valley, Goodyear Heights, South Akron and Summit Lake, and Kent neighborhoods.
Inside|Out is funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Partners for the Merriman Valley installations are Summit Metro Parks, Weathervane Playhouse and R. Shea Brewing.
Discover the artwork currently featured in the Metro Parks below, and then go out and EXPLORE! Share the pieces you find on Instagram and Twitter with #InsideOutAkron.
