Mountain Bike Area

We offer 7 miles of trails in the Hampton Hills Metro Park Mountain Bike Area (2092 Theiss Rd., Akron). 

Trails are for bikes only and helmets are required. Restrooms are provided. There is no drinking water. Electric bikes are prohibited. Pets are not permitted.  

Riders may choose from beginner, moderate and intermediate trails. When the area is completed, there may be up to 16 total miles, including advanced-level trails.

Trail Legend

WHITE: Beginner 
For beginners in good health; most bike types okay; surface is relatively flat and wide. 

GREEN: Moderate 
Gentle climbs and descents with obstacles such as rocks, gravel, bridges and pot holes. 

BLUE: Intermediate 
More challenging, with steep slopes and/or obstacles. Requires off-road riding experience. 

BLACK: Advanced 
We’ll be adding advanced trails in a few years. For now, try our optional advanced-level skill features on the Woodward Creek Loop!
