Giving to the Metro Parks Foundation is a meaningful way to support the natural beauty and wonder preserved by Metro Parks, Serving Summit County.

Metro Parks Foundation

The Metro Parks Foundation is a nonprofit endowment that was established in 1991 to further the goals and mission of Metro Parks, Serving Summit County. The Foundation accepts gifts and grants to support the park district's charitable, educational and scientific initiatives.

Each year, Summit County residents and organizations recognize special people, celebrate events and memorialize loved ones by donating to one of several programs. Giving is easy and long lasting.

Walkway Pavers
Engraved bricks enhance the universally accessible walkway in the herb garden at F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm. Bricks are installed in spring and fall. Prices range from $250 to $500, depending on the size of the brick. Purchases are recognized in the Green Islands newsletter.

Tree Trust
The parks are made more beautiful each year with trees purchased through the Tree Trust. Park employees choose the preferred location and tree type, and trees are usually planted in spring or as needed for specific projects. Donations of $300 or more are recognized on a donor plaque in the visitors center at F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm, and in the Green Islands newsletter.

Foundation Funds
The Foundation gratefully accepts donations ranging from $10 to $10,000 or more. Businesses and individuals alike may support ongoing initiatives such as programs, events, research and administration.
