Biennial Report

As the name implies, this report to the community is published every two years. Highlights of the last biennium include the opening of Pond Brook Conservation Area at Liberty Park, extending the Jogging Trail in Sand Run Metro Park, opening the universally accessible Overlook Trail in Cascade Valley and creating Spree For All, the hiking series for visitors of all abilities.

Did You Know?

Surprising Salamanders
Salamanders are amphibians, which usually lay eggs in bodies of water. But one of our most common species, the red-backed salamander, is completely terrestrial. It lays its eggs on land.
