Deep Lock Quarry contains Lock 28, which at 17 feet was the deepest lock on the Ohio & Erie Canal.

Very Amusing
Gorge Metro Park once contained two amusement parks. Among them was High Bridge Glens, which opened in 1882 and featured a thrilling rollercoaster and a dance hall.
